Thomas Wesch has been practicing law since 2017.  Mr. Wesch graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s degree in English and then obtained his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law.

While in law school, Mr. Wesch served as a clinical intern for the California Innocence Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to freeing the wrongfully convicted. As an intern, Mr. Wesch helped secure Guy Miles’ release from prison after eighteen years of wrongful incarceration.

After law school, Mr. Wesch worked at the Riverside County Public Defender’s Office in Murrieta and the San Diego County Office of the Public Defender. While there, he had a perfect record of not-guilty verdicts in felony trials, and his only verdict that was not an acquittal was a hung jury in a misdemeanor case. However, the hung jury resulted in a dismissal of all charges by the District Attorney.
